Fermented fiber is a biotechnological substance, a metabiotic. Fermented fiber is a combination of bran, various types of fiber, flavonoids and higher fungi, which are first processed with enzymes, then populated with probiotic bacteria. The strains of probiotic bacteria are selected according to research - according to which species are most capable of metabolizing dietary fiber - these are Bifidobacterium adolescentis, Bifidobacterium animalis and Lactobacillus acidophilus.
